Nic and I were a little nervous about gas prices. With where they were in September (when we started planning our trip) we were filling up our car for $65 dollars-if not a little more, and we had anticipated spending at least $300 on gas (painful, I know). crud get this Elaine, today I filled up our SUV at Costco and it cost 23.68!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT? it was 1.64 / gallon. HELLO!!!
